Our Story...

Our story is simple. It was the day before the summer break when our founder, then a freshman at the University of Melbourne, awoke to the sound of students around him in a last-minute frenzy. They were scrambling to figure out what to do with all their belongings as they prepared to leave for the holidays.

It was a problem that seemed so common, yet nobody had thought of a simple solution. That’s when they had a lightbulb moment: What if there was a convenient, affordable, and hassle-free way for students to store their belongings during breaks? An idea that could save students the stress and worry, giving them peace of mind to enjoy their holidays.

And so, the foundation of a revolutionary storage service was laid—one designed to make life easier for students everywhere. This marked the beginning of the Summer Break Storage Program (SBS).

What started as a dorm room brainstorm soon grew into something much bigger. With a passion for solving everyday problems and a commitment to simplicity, the Summer Break Storage Program evolved into a service that turned a logistical headache into a seamless experience.

The name 'Universal Exports' is inspired by the James Bond series, where it served as a fictional front for MI6.
